Oh my... yes, she has grown!
We went to Evie's two month well visit this morning. She gained a whopping 3.5 pounds in the last month. Whoa. In fact, when the nurse entered her new weight into the computer, a note popped up asking if that was right because it was such a huge jump. She also grew 2.5 inches. So... new stats - 12 pounds 13 ounces, 22.5 inches long. Obviously, Doc said she's doing great.
She did get a bunch of shots today, though. Bummer. But the good news is that she is now free to get her ears pierced. Yay!

Earrings
We did it! She got her ears pirced on Thursday. It was significantly more of an ordeal than when Adelle had hers done, but it's done just the same and boy does she look adorable!!!

she's no (thumb) sucker
Evie has been trying to get her fist in her mouth to suck on for a few weeks now. We figured she'd end up sucking her thumb just like Adelle, but nope. It seems the thumb is too much work to get in her mouth. She prefers her fingers. Usually her index finger occasionally accompanied by her middle finger as well. Personally, I think it's adorable!
