I had the most upsetting dream last night. I dreamt that I went to the hospital to have my babies (yeah, I had twins in my dream... crazy) and after I had them everyone left. I was alone in the room holding these two babies who were crying and I just started panicking because I had no idea what to do with them! I started calling for help and finally a nurse came in and told me that if I didn't know what to do with my own babies, I must be a terrible mother. I just remember feeling so scared and helpless. Do I feed them? Do I change them? What do I do? Maybe I'm having some fears about being a good mother... you think? It is scary to think about something so new and so important. I mean, how do you know ahead of time if you'll be a good parent or not?I'll leave you all with that today. Hope you got lots of good candy last night! Don't forget to vote... today is the last day for the poll.

Well, the poll is done and most of you seem to think that Baby is a girl. Only five more months till we find out! Ha ha ha.Monday, 07 November 2005
Well, we're all moved in to our apartment now. It's great! It's so crazy to think that we'll eventually have a baby living there with us, too!My doctor's appointment went well today. The baby's heartbeat was so strong! "Pow pow pow!" Really cool. And I have only gained a few more pounds (not another huge amount!). I have an appointment on the 22nd for my 20-week ultrasound. Oh boy! Can't wait to see Baby. I'll be able to bring a 'picture' of Baby with me when we fly down to Georgia for Thanksgiving! How fun!

So I don't want to be a complainer. And I know every pregnant woman is uncomfortable. And it seems like there is always one thing (at least) that is just really hard for each pregnant lady whether it be sickness, swelling, leg cramps, back pain, etc. For me, it is sciatic pain at night. I mean it wakes me up in the middle of the night it is so painful. There's really not much I can do about it either. Here's my thinking, though... if it is this bad now, how much more is it going to hurt in a few months? Something fun to think about. Okay... done whining now.

I am officially worn out. When you start crying at breakfast because you just want to go back to bed... yeah, you're tired. I guess I just didn't realize how much I have been doing in the last few weeks with moving and working and trying to get the apartment settled and furnished. Man, I'm just worn out. So, I am taking the day off tomorrow and I plan to sleep as late as I possibly can! Ha ha ha. Since my job requires both the mail running and the bank being open (and neither are going to happen tomorrow) it's the perfect day for me to take off. So I'll sleep in, take Jamie to lunch, and just goof around. Nice.In baby news, I've noticed that his or her little kicks are getting a bit stronger. I can't wait til Jamie can feel them, too!

So, as you can see, I've updated my picture again. I swear when I look in the mirror I don't think I look that pregnant! It's like really skinny girls who think they look fat, but all reversed! Ha ha ha. It's crazy! So, yeah I guess I'm looking kinda pregnant now. And at almost 5 months I supposed it's about time.Let me just say, Cold Stone Creamery is pregnant lady heaven!!! Oh man. I was craving ice cream yesterday (which is not unusual) and since we were near Cold Stone Creamery I thought I'd go there. Amazing. Any possible ice cream flavor/combo you could be craving (with the exception of chocolate ice cream and green olives... sorry Mom) they can and will do it. I was in the mood for a chocolate shake with something peanut buttery in it. So I asked if she could make me a chocolate shake with peanut butter cups in it and the girl said, "No problem!". I thought I was going to attempt a cartwheel I was so excited. And boy did it taste good. Wow... I need another one of those soon! Yay Cold Stone Creamery! I love you!
For those of you who might be interested, I have a couple of pics of our new apartment up online. You can check them out here - new apartment pics
And as always, so can check out pics of Baby and I growing here - Jo and Baby pics

I think my morning sickness is back. That's fun, isn't it? I've been feeling really yucky the past few mornings. Maybe it'll go away again.I've noticed that strangers are really nice to pregnant women. People open doors for me all the time and let me go ahead of them. It's also fun to see them look at me. Their eyes automatically divert to my belly and most times, they smile. It's nice knowing that my baby is bringing joy to other people besides Jamie and I. Well, and the grandparents, too. But that's a given!

In random thoughts... I hope I don't get an outee belly button. (Told you it was random.)

Baby has be sooooo busy lately! It's crazy. He or she is just dancing around down there all day long. Fun fun!Morning sickness has still returned. It's weird and not much fun. Oh well.
In really fun news, we bought a Pack and Play this morning! Jamie found a lady in our area who is selling one that's almost new for $35! It includes the sheets, mobile, etc... everything. Very exciting. It's our first big baby item!
We'll have something fun in Baby's room now! (Besides boxes from the move). I can't wait to pick it up on the way home today! Yay!Friday, 18 November 2005
Funny, I had another dream last night that Baby was a girl. Actually, Jamie's Grandmother told me in the dream that Baby was a girl. How she knew I'll never figure out, but it was a dream... they are just crazy like that. This has definitely been a reoccuring theme. Everytime Jamie or I dream about Baby, Baby is always a girl. Interesting, huh?Our Pack and Play rocks. It's all set up in Baby's room. It won't stay there. But it's a good place for it right now. It's fun to look in there and see Baby's stuff.

I hit Cold Stone Creamery again this weekend. Man I love that place!I'm thinking Baby can definitely hear some now. We went to a movie on Friday night and everytime it got really loud, Baby would start moving around like crazy! It was so funny.
I can't wait til tomorrow! It's ultrasound day!
Tuesday, 22 November 2005
It's a.... Baby!!! Ha ha ha! The ultrasound went soooo well today. It was just so much fun. Baby is just moving around like crazy in there. We got some great ultrasound pics which you can see here The doc said Baby looks to be 100% normal and healthy. Yay!It turns out Baby takes after Mom... He/She is modest. It's a good thing we didn't want to know Baby's sex because we would have been really bummed. Everytime the doc tried to look down there Baby would put his/her foot right in the way. She said there was no way she would have been able to even guess at Baby's sex. I'm glad. I was worried we might accidentally see something and find out. But Baby sure has cute little feet! Ha ha ha.

I've changed the pic on the site again. It's a profile of Baby. You should be able to make out Baby's face profile and his/her body. So cool!Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Friday, 25 November 2005
I don't know about you, but I had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! It sure didn't hurt that it's sunny and 70 degrees here in Georgia. When we flew out of DC yesterday morning it was right around freezing. I will miss Georgia's winter while I'm freezing up in Philly this year! Ha ha ha.
Jamie's parents, niece and nephew met us at the airport yesterday. On the way back from the airport Jamie's mother asked the kids what they thought we ought to name the baby. Caleb started thinking about a good name, but Bethany (who is 4) didn't need to think. She just blurted out "hound dog!" I guess she figured that sounded like a good name. We all laughed so hard I thought I was going to cry. So now we've been calling Baby "hound dog" as a joke. It makes everyone laugh so hard. Kids are fun, aren't they?
Well, we picked two big bags of pecans yesterday from Jamie's grandmother's front yard so I'm going to go outside now and help Jamie crack them all open. Maybe I'll get a tan, too!
Wednesday, 30 November 2005
I'm sick. Blah. I knew it would happen sooner or later, but it's still no fun. I think it's just a yucky sold, but still...Baby is busy busy busy these days. He/she just plays all day long. It's funny.
Okay... getting to work now so I can go back home and go to bed!
