And she's off!
It's amazing what happens in the life of a baby in just two weeks. Evie got two more teeth and started crawling. She's this close to being able to pull herself up as well. Yikes. So now the fun of teaching her 'no'. Yeah, not fun, but essential to my sanity and her overall appeal to others. When she first started crawling (only a week ago) she would crawl a step or two and then do this little bunny hop with both feet. Too cute. I managed to get it on video and I'm glad I did because she's already stopped doing that. Sniff sniff. They grow up so fast.Crawl, crawl, hop!
Evie had a great first Christmas. Lots of fun new things. Opening presents herself will have to wait another year since she mostly just wanted to chew on them.
And now, pictures!
Evie gave Bella Bunny two slobbery thumbs up!

Really, babies don't need toys. If you've got a laundry basket and some measuring cups, they'll be entertained for hours! I think the toys are for Mommy and Daddy's enjoyment. I know I think they're fun. :)

Riding in the wagon was FUN!

New Stuff
New teeth coming in (#'s 5 and 6!).
New abilities - she pulled up for the first time today. She can stand on her own for about five seconds at a time. Yeah... she's only eight months old. HELP!
So yesterday was bath day for the girls. Jamie took both girls into the bathroom to get things started. He sat Evie down on the floor and then asked Adelle to sit down and take her socks off. So Adelle sits down on the floor in front of Evie and starts pulling her socks off. Evie immediately reaches down and tries to pull her own socks off, too! CUTE! It's oh so cute to us, but in a year or so it will stop being cute to Adelle and will be just plain irritating. Trust me. I know. I was the big sister. :)

a quick update
Another tooth in; another still on its way. This girl can crawl lightning fast now and has started cruising a bit around the livingroom. She's so fun.
She finally has the whole signing thing figured out. She sometimes gets them muddled up (signs 'milk' for 'more', etc.) but she gets that she can communicate her wants to us. It's great! She can now do 'more', 'all done', and 'milk' (which we use for 'drink', in general... 'drink' is hard for little ones to do). Next? 'Please' and 'thank you'. Communication is good.
Tons of new pics - I'll try to get them up online tomorrow.
