Little Watermelon

My Grandmommy and Granddaddy are here visiting (I call them Ma-mommy and Da-daddy). They brought me a really cute watermelon dress. Now I look like a true Southern belle.

a good day

Today Mommy declared that it was too nice to stay home all day. So she packed up a picnic for all of us and we went to Linvilla. When we got there it was really busy. Lucky for us, they were having their peach festival today! Hooray!. We ate lunch.



And then we looked at the animals. A silly goat tried to eat my shoe. It was hilarious!



Then Mommy and Daddy let me pick out a cookie from the bakery (It would be a big bummer to go to Linvilla and not get something from their amazing bakery!). I picked a chocolate puppy cookie... they didn't let me eat the whole thing. Sigh.



I said 'puppy, yummy' all the way home. Thank you Mommy and Daddy for a fun day and a yummy puppy cookie!

A busy week!

This last week has been so busy... but really fun!

First Miss Kamma came to visit us. She brought me this awesome giraffe. She (the giraffe not Kamma) is magenta, which is a color I really like right now, mostly because it's fun to say. :) I also like orange. Mommy thinks this is a little weird. Whatever... I like what I like! Miss Kamma is BIG BIG fun! I had a blast playing with her. Come visit again soon!



Then Aunt Hey Hey and Owen and Blake came. They just left last night. They were going to leave today, but all three of us kids had some serious meltdown issues, so... yeah. I'm teething. Ouchie. I had tons of fun playing with them all, though. Owen and I both really liked coloring with the chalk, but we had issues when it came to sharing. Such is the life of a toddler.

I am in love with baby Blake. Anytime he wasn't around I would say "baby!" and "Blake!" until I found him again. Mommy even helped me hold him last night. It was GREAT!!! I'm going to be such a great big sister some day.

Big Girl Bed

Mommy and Daddy have been toying with the idea of moving me to a toddler bed for awhile now. I have to sleep in a bed without sides at christmastime when we go see family so they want me to be really used to it by then. So they decide that yesterday was the big day. Daddy took my crib apart and turned it into a toddler bed for me. I have to say, I LOVE IT! I feel like such a big girl in my big girl bed. I really like that I can get in by myself and Mommy can sit next to me when we say prayers at bedtime. It's really cool. I did roll out of bed a few times last night. Thankfully Mommy padded the ground heavily for me and the drop is all of 6 inches or so. But I am really getting the hang of it quickly. I didn't even roll out at naptime today. YAY for big girl beds!

Another Fun Zoo Trip

I do love the zoo. Since Mommy just couldn't bear the thought of sitting inside all day yesterday and there are three tiger cubs at the zoo right now, we packed up a picnic lunch and headed out to the zoo yesterday. The zoo is always fun for me. I especially asked to see the giraffes this week. The tiger cubs were cute and the gorilla came right up to me at the glass. So funny!

Tattle Tale

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a tattle tale. If the kitties are doing something they shouldn't, I say "No no!".

Well yesterday I was home with Daddy and I went running into the kitchen saying, "No, no!". Daddy looked around to see what the cats were doing. They were just taking a nap so he told me it was okay. So I went back to the livingroom and then came running right back into the kitchen again saying, "No, no!". So this time Daddy came with me into the livingroom. I had turned on the tv (which I know is a no no) and was tattling on myself!!! Daddy thought this was really funny. But I still got in trouble. Bummer.
