We took cupcakes to Adelle's school for her birthday... raspberry peach with lemon buttercream icing, to be exact. That's what Adelle wanted and she was thrilled with them. :)
We ate the rest of the batch after supper that night. Make a wish!
Then we had Adelle's party on Saturday. We had a gardening themed party. The kids painted pots and then planted impatiens in them.
Then we went outside to play games. We hunted for (fake) critters that were hidden in the front yard.
And dug for (fake) worms in the dirt.
And then, of course, we had flower cupcakes and some ice cream. Yummy.
After our guests left, we opened party gifts. Adelle was thrilled with them all.
All in all, a very special birthday. :)
